Natalie Scanlon - 500x500.png

Trustee - Chair Person

Natalie Scanlon

Hi, I’m Natalie! A proud Royal Navy veteran of 23 years, mum of two and local business owner. I work with babies and preschoolers, which is such a rewarding part of my life. I’m passionate about my local community, bringing people together, supporting local businesses and helping make a positive difference where I can.
In my spare time you will usually find me sewing, looking after my allotment, walking or spending time with my family. I love meeting new people and helping make our community a great place to live!

18 years of running my own Slimming World business. I’m passionate about people and love being part of my local community. Whether it’s supporting someone on their weight-loss journey, bringing people together or simply being there when someone needs a little encouragement, helping others is what really makes me tick. For me, it’s all about people, positivity and making a difference in the community.

Karen Trinder

I have lived in Portchester since 2012 and got to know the wonderful dog walking community with my dog Ash. Since 2025 I have become more active in volunteering (for Parkrun, PCA, Fareham Borough Council, RBL Poppy Appeal and Believe and Achieve). I became a trustee of the PCA in December 2025. In my spare time I enjoy running, travel and trying different arts and crafts.

Trustee

Darren Beames

I worked for 25 years in the IT sector, before being medically retired in 2015. I also have a strong background in Graphic & Web design. I have lived in Portchester since 2017 and have been involved with various community groups in the area, so following on from that I became a Trustee in 2026. I was also previously involved in the Portchester Traders Association when I was running the MyPortchester community magazine before COVID forced its closure. I enjoy giving back and want to use my skill set for good.

Dave Wiltshire - 500x500.png

Trustee

Councillor Dave Wiltshire

I lived in Portchester for over 20 years, with all three of my children growing up here and attending Wicor Primary School and Cams Hill School.

A lot of my family live in Portchester, and I’ve always loved the strong sense of community we have here.

I’m really pleased to become a trustee and hope I can bring some of my experience, local knowledge and passion for Portchester to help keep The Hub providing the many benefits and opportunities it offers to local people.
